CREATOR

Antoine Lie is one of the most charismatic faces in contemporary perfumery. A man of character with a very direct, daring and deep olfactory signature, he is known for his unconventional and memorable creations. With a hint of provocation, Antoine Lie has always challenged his vision of perfume design. Never giving up on creativity, he has debated the limitations of industrial perfumery at the end of the 90’s due to his 30 years of experience in major perfume houses like Givaudan, IFF and Tagasako. His works go from commercial successes such as Armani Code, Ralph Lauren’s Romance for Men, and Versace’s Cristal Noir, to punk or avant-garde perfumes like Etat Libre d’Orange and Comme des Garçons, and of course Bruma and Aphélie for Trudon. In 2018 Antoine Lie leaves large perfume houses for good to become an independent perfumer. He is today investing his energy into innovative projects and new olfactory territories, building unique relationships for exceptional perfumes and thinking ahead with a new environmental and ethical dimension to his work. For that matter he has chosen excellent partners allowing a new palette of unique raw materials.

Since 1643, and re-imagined in 2007, Trudon is at the crossroads of know-how and history. Elaborated hand in hand with world class perfumers, Trudon's fragrances are the result of a careful development. All the candles are handmade in their own factory in Normandy, France. As a timeless object, Trudon candles are the expression of an exceptional know-how, from the hand-poured waxing to the packaging, and each label is centred and affixed by hand.

RETURN POLICY

Exchange or store credit is available on eligible (please see final sale items, below) full-priced items with a receipt within 15 days of purchase. No refunds, and no price adjustments for previously purchased merchandise. Items must qualify for exchange, and be unworn and in original condition - including packaging. Any jewelry that has been custom-ordered, modified or sized we are unable to accept for exchange.

All fragrance and apothecary sales are final. Fragrance is a personal, hygienic product, and once a bottle has left the shop we can't resell it — even unopened — with the same confidence we owe the next customer.

Once an order is placed, we cannot guarantee that it may be cancelled. Please reach out to us immediately if you need to cancel your order.

SHIPPING COSTS

Shipping costs are non-refundable. If complimentary shipping was received by the customer, any exchange or store credit will be in the amount of the item(s), less a $5-20 processing charge.

Refused shipments are not eligible for refund.
