Shannon Len, designer and creator of Shannon Len Jewelry, has been designing and creating jewelry since 2001. A lifelong artist and passionate collector of unique artisan goods from around the world, Shannon’s love of beauty, craftsmanship, and story has shaped both her work and the thoughtfully curated spaces she creates.

Raised by a ceramicist Mother, Shannon began exploring creative mediums from an early age, including sculpture, painting, and eventually jewelry. Working with her hands has always been an integral part of how she experiences and understands the world, giving her a deep reverence for the time, skill, and tradition held within handmade objects.

Much of Shannon’s inspiration comes from the exploration of culture and history and a desire to honor and preserve traditional craft. She is especially passionate about working with women artisans from around the globe, supporting their work and helping keep time-honored techniques and traditions alive.

Shannon also holds a deep appreciation for heirloom pieces—objects thoughtfully made to stand the test of time rather than contribute to a culture of constant consumption. She believes in collecting fewer, more meaningful things. Pieces chosen with intention, made to be lived with, and imbued with greater meaning as they become part of our own stories. Over time, these objects can become heirlooms themselves, carrying memories and beauty from one generation to the next.

At the heart of everything Shannon creates and curates is a belief that the objects we surround ourselves with can carry meaning, memory, and a sense of connection to the maker, to a place, and to the stories that came before us.
