This Montana sapphire Toi et Moi ring features a striking pairing of a rose-pink, step-cut kite sapphire and a carré-cut blue-green sapphire, brought together in a balanced yet unconventional composition. Both these sapphires have beautiful eye clean clarity and sparkle like it!
Toi et Moi rings are a historic style symbolizing the unique relationship between two people. The phrase translates from French as “you and me,” underscoring the intimate connection the design represents.

About the Artist
Mariele Ivy, the founder of Young in the Mountains, has always been inspired by the symbiosis of humans & their environment. Born and raised in Western Montana, she spent her early life in the rivers and woods exploring and creating art inspired by the beautiful surroundings. It was in a 1920s barn-turned wooden-boat studio that she created her first jewelry piece at the age of 5. A thin blue ribbon strung through an oyster shell, simple and natural, a harbinger of what was to come.
Championing found materials, and valuing a light footprint in regards to sourcing has been a pivotal and lifelong aspect of her creativity.
