The ear jackets feature two levels of wear to be customized to your earlobe: These jackets are worn behind your ear lobe while the Luna stud earrings hold the ear jacket in place from the front of your lobe.

About the Artist
Mariele Ivy, the founder of Young in the Mountains, has always been inspired by the symbiosis of humans & their environment. Born and raised in Western Montana, she spent her early life in the rivers and woods exploring and creating art inspired by the beautiful surroundings. It was in a 1920s barn-turned wooden-boat studio that she created her first jewelry piece at the age of 5. A thin blue ribbon strung through an oyster shell, simple and natural, a harbinger of what was to come.
Championing found materials, and valuing a light footprint in regards to sourcing has been a pivotal and lifelong aspect of her creativity.
