All Amanda Hunt designs are composed of the solid metal. No plating is used. Metal is a natural material from Mother Earth and it is in its nature to patina over time.

All Amanda Hunt bronze is a yellow bronze alloy that has a beautiful golden tone similar to 14k yellow gold. Both bronze and brass are alloys of copper. The high copper content in brass and bronze can cause it to darken over time. This is primarily due to a reaction to water and humidity. A polishing cloth is included for all brass and bronze jewelry. 

Remove jewelry before showering, sleeping, swimming, exercising or applying any moisturizers or fragrances. Do not expose to continuous moisture or heat.
