Deep in Oaxaca's sacred valley stands El Árbol del Tule—an ahuehuete (Nahuatl for cypress) that has witnessed over two thousand years of history. The Zapotec people named it "the tree where life began," its great trunk now wide enough to embrace 30 people at once. DOS MIL AÑOS opens with bright grapefruit interwoven with cypress and cardamom– evoking morning mist around the tree's massive trunk. The heart reveals warming spices of nutmeg and clove bud, complemented by roasted hazelnut and sustainable eucalyptus, representing the deep connection between earth and sky.

Meeting during their decade-long careers in beauty marketing, Gonzalez and Harris shared not just a passion for fragrance, but a bold vision for its future. They recognized an opportunity to transform the industry by creating complex, mind-bending scents that spark conversation while emphasizing quality materials and thoughtful, inclusive design over legacy and celebrity.

Today, EAUSO VERT develops award-winning fragrances that defy traditional boundaries. Each vegan, cruelty-free creation arrives in design-forward packaging that proves sustainable choices never compromise sophistication. Their commitment to conscious luxury is validated by both EU and Credo Clean certifications.

ABOUT THE PERFUMERS

Rodrigo Flores-Roux was born in Mexico 50 years ago and has been attracted to perfumes since he was a child. Rodrigo is a multi-award winning perfumer and his skill has been recognized with several FiFi Awards among others. Furthermore, his work has been inducted into important best-of lists in the Fragrance Foundation Hall of Fame.

Rodrigo's perfume style oscillates naturally between big and expressive compositions that are rich in multi-layered details. A lover of citrus aromas, he also delights himself playing with rich nocturnal florals, opulent ambery resins and leather notes, as he's also well-known for donning black leather clothes almost every day; he wears them with style and relish.

Faye Harris and Tanya Gonzalez’s vision for the fragrances immediately resonated with Pascal Gaurin. He was drawn to the brands refined aesthetic, clear messaging and conscious positioning and was inspired to craft scents rooted in those same powerful principles. His creative process was sparked by Faye and Tanya’s visual representations for each of the fragrances as well as his own experiences in travel and music. The end result, were beautifully simple yet olfactively rarefied fragrance creations highlighting earth’s most precious natural ingredients.

Utilizing his wealth of fragrance knowledge and skilled craftmanship, Pascal constructed the five fragrances simultaneously, all incorporating similar ingredients that vary in tonality. This allows for each fragrance to embody a common olfactive thread that subliminally links the fragrances in unity.
