spiral drop earrings
14k gold fill drops. 1.75”-2” long and lightweight.
The New spiral collection inspired by the spirals used in Hilma Klints paintings. One of the oldest geometric shapes used throughout many civilizations, spirals have many symbolic meanings including rebirth which I find quite appropriate for these times. As we are each transforming both on a individual and collective level, these pieces are to be worn to honor this chapter of time and remind us each of our evolution. Ancient cultures from around the world have carved and used this symbol without ever communicating to one another. The symbol is fundamental to nature appearing in animals from the snail, sea shells, fossils and occurs in natural phenomena such as whirlpools, tornados, hurricanes, and spinning galaxies. Many believe the spiral represents the consciousness of nature beginning from its center and moving outward. Symbolizing the seasons and the paths of life: birth, growth, death, and reincarnation.
The spiral has become a powerful symbol for reincarnation, growth and the immortality of the spirit in many cultures. In Celtic, the spiral represents evolution, motion, progress and continual development of the human being both physically and spiritually. This sacred symbol represents the journey and change of life as it unfolds taking a labyrinth like passage that leads back to source.
My hope is this little talisman can bring a daily reminder of this natural cycle and bring peace as we transform to a more concious state.
